ZEADES Launches the Metropolis

Classic and contemporary meet in Metropolis, the newest arrival to join the ZEADES men’s Offshore collection. Inspired by the smooth understated favourites among 60s and 70s watches, the new timepiece adds all the comfort, design innovation and complications inherent in contemporary watchmaking.

In creating the Metropolis, ZEADES Chief Stylist Danielle Devreese had the urban man in mind. Its styling lends it the kind of confidence that carries it effortlessly from daytime to evening wear, expressing power and refinement in equal measure. The strap is in soft, easy to wear, but durable, black croc Italian leather that interfaces with the 44mm case via curved lugs which deftly follow the shape of the wrist for wearing ease.

The multi-layered face is round, with applied indexes and Roman numerals, and the hands present a dial with depth. Turn the case over and discover imagery engraved to underline the Metropolis aspect – the outline of a metropolitan skyline.

Metropolis’s heart beats to a high-precision Japanese movement and is water resistant to 50 meters. It comes in four versions, two in natural stainless steel and two in rose gold tones. Where the differences lie are in the dial, the buckle and the number of complications.

The first natural stainless steel model features a light, white/grey dial with time and date set in a patterned circle and comes with an easy buckle on its black croc strap while the second model features time, date and chronograph and a strap with an adjustable deployment buckle. First of the two rose gold models has a black dial featuring  time and date and hands in rose gold while the second model features time, date and chronograph features and a deployment buckle on the black croc leather strap.
